Italian Genovese Pesto (Basil)

3-6 tbsp Olive oil or more if you want it runny

100g Pecorino or Parmesan

1-4 cloves Garlic

50-80g Basil or other herbs

4-7g Pine nuts or other nuts

Salt

Παρασκευή

  1. Wash and dry the basil/ herbs

  2. in a blender, blitz the oil and the garlic.

  3. Once blended well, add the pine nuts and blitz further.

  4. Add the basil and the cheese and blitz on high speed for maximum 30 seconds.

  5. Transfer to a bain marie (ice) or into a container and place it in the fridge.

  6. Prepare your protein or pasta or even pizza and enjoy!
