Bumping into one of the most geographically important trade routes and ports of England in history. The name is quite simillar to our previous destination and it had very important role into the merchant buisness that boosted the economical growth of the country and the area itself. After visiting it you can clearly see the old antiques from the 19th century and earlier being around the harbour. Alongside the port, there is a marina that can be found. It is full of modern yaughts with plenty of colours and a variety of decorations. Different countries and travellers from all over the world gather up there. Especially during christmas you can see all the lights from the well decorated beautiful boats while enjoying a hot drink! In the end you can see the contrast of history and modern world.

During the Summer or other seasons where better weather can be found, the place is full of people that want to escape reality and the daily routine... Something we analysed and went through on one of our first posts. There are a couple of beaches but lot of well decorated cafe and pubs. Walking to the town center, there is not much choice but a selection of shops and pubs in an old fasioned decorated sidewalk, streets and buildings.

Let's walk around Ramsgate where we visit the port and enjoy the decorations of the new and old era!
