A Golden & Blue Vortex!

As we approach the area of 'Makris gialos' which translates to Long beach, we go through on of the biggest beaches in Crete. If you have been following our journey and especially since we landed in Crete, you have probably started to realise why this is one of my favourite islands. The more we go around it, the prettier it gets. Going through the old houses or buildings some of them with wooden windows and window covers, built traditionally with rocks. They are surrounded by beautiful clouds which have got a mixture of mood swings... Some of them look happy and shiny whilst others dark and angry; ready to take over the sky.

When the Sun is overlooking Greece and you are on a Greek island, you should feel unique. Usually during the Summer season it gets really hot as we have previously mentioned. Having those clous (those of both moods) hiding the Sun every now and then, it creates a lovely and special moment. When you start feeling hot and the shade drops in, it cools you down a bit. Put this phenomenon on repeat and you live the best of your life.

How about nature in its green mask on? Look at those trees around the coast or by the seaside surviving the heat. On top of that they grow and multiply. You can find them as bush or trees. Other edible, some of them are the perfect food of snakes or other animals and few of them poisonous. They all look beautiful though. On top of that, they filter and support life on this planet.

Lastly, when the Sun 'drops' or just moves on (from our perspective), there we start to see a protrait. The colours, fades, saturation and how many more details. Look at the sky and the refleciton it has on the sea or even on the land. Even the house, boats, cars and everywhere. It is just such a special moment. Not only during the sunset though. It is during the day. It is just enhanced at that time. The only issue is... we are too busy and distracted with work, our phones and other unnecessary things. This is the way we miss the meaning of life, 'loossing' people, friends, time goes like the sun, unappreciated and even wasted!
