A lot of people talk about Bahamas or other quite expensive and very popular places. Even if you ask someone about Greece like where they would go... The least you would expect to hear, would be a rather smaller place which is not well known. They would probably tell you about Mykonos or Santorini where you can have a lot of fun and enjoy 'The Sunrise' like in no other place. But how true is it? I find it quite overpumped... Any island you visit in Greece, If you find yourself in the right spot in the right time, there you go. You will remember my words. Of course I am not saying it is only Greece in the world. There are other thousand places in the world. Every destination is a different experience which will offer you great memories and emotions.
With all that being said, here we start our journey with my homeland named 'Halkida'. It is the biggest city in Evia island which is located in the heart of Greece. Here you can find rumors about the 'crazy waters' which they say are connected with the moon and they can change their direction multiple times within a day. Others say that they change direciton every six hours. It is quite a historical place from the ancient days. You can escape from reality by exploring the island. On this post we will see some pictures from my hometown. In the future we will see more pictures about beaches and places around Evia.
